"EXCUSE ME. MISS, MISS, MISS": ONE FINE TUNE (A REVIEW)

Never mind the logic, the inconsistencies and the arrangements. It was intently meant to be that way, according to the vision and attack of the director of the film EXCUSE ME, MISS, MISS, MISS, one of the competing Shorts in this year's Cinemalaya 16, to create a rather lovely and comedic attack about the lives of those ordinary workers in a Supermarket and grocery store.

When people are made to act and move like robots, wherein you could not even scratch your ass as it felt itchy, yawn, sleep and even sit.

When ordinary employees were treated so unfairly, and the 'higher bosses' became so superior and impossible- the film Excuse Me, Miss, Miss, Miss surely delivered the message.

The multiplicity aspect in the characters also added-up some great style and joy, because in the modern-day society, humans becomes almost like Super Heroes in delivering tasks and roles. Yet in the end, they would falter still.

No pretending, this is that kind of film. Rather sexy, too. Lavish and alluring. A one fine tune of a movie. And you would feel good, too, at the ending of this film. Good take, director Sonny Calvento.
