SA PATULOY NA PAGLALAKBAY NI AVID RAZUL BILANG "LUKAS"....

Patuloy sa paglalakbay ang pelikulang LUKAS, ang advocacy film na pinagbibidahan ni Avid Razul, isa sa pinakamabait na naging alaga ng yumaong direktor na si Maryo J. delos Reyes. At sa paglalakbay ng pelikulang nabanggit sa iba't-ibang eskuwelahan, mga probinsya, at mga sinehan- si Avid Razul ay patuloy na naglalakbay din. Mga paglalakbay na mas nagpapa-ibayo pa sa kanyang pagkatao at kagalingan bilang isang aktor.

"Ipinalabas na rin kamakailan lang sa mga SM Cinemas sa mga regular screenings doon ang pelikulang Lukas", nasabi pa ni Avid. "At magaganda ang rebyu ng mga nakapanood na. Kaya masaya ako talaga. Marami pang paglalakbay na gagawin ang pelikula sa buong Pilipinas sa pagpasok ng taong 2020."

Ang pelikulang Lukas din kasi ang unang pelikula na kung saan ang pinaka-bida ay si Avid Razul. May magandang mensahe para sa mga kabataan, kaya naman, gustong-gusto ng mga guro na maipalabas sa kani-kanilang paaralan ang nabanggit na pelikula.

Sa ngayon, naghahanda na si Avid sa bagong pelikulang gagawin niya para sa Magic Five Productions. Naghahanap pa sila ng magandang materyal. Pero ngayon pa lang, walang tigil sa pagdyi-gym si Avid dahil ang gusto niya, action ule ang gagawin niyang kasunod na pelikula.

"Mas maganda at mas maaksyon, pero punong-puno din ng aral ang susunod naming gagawing pelikula", pagtatapos na wika ni Avid. "Basta abangan na lang nila. In the meantime, samahan n'yo muna ako sa paglalakbay ni LUKAS!!!"

LANCE ON A NON-STOP THE WINNING STREAK!

Sometimes, dreams do happen fast and easily. Just more than two weeks ago, a blogger and his celebrity-friend by the name of Lance Raymundo were having lunch together at Kenny Rogers restaurant. Suddenly, the blogger said to Lance in a dreaming manner: "How i wish you would be winning awards soon, Papa Lance!"

Lance Raymundo simply smiled, and in that smile, there was innocence, ignorance and unassuming look. He never knew, that the person on his front, speaking to him at that very moment, will have a TOUNGE OF AN ANGEL! (In Tagalog: Magdidilang-Anghel!!!)

Because right after that lunch, Lance just kept on winning! The latest award he got now is The Most Inspiring Celebrity In Bofy-Building 2019. And it was given by the prestigious Philippine Bodybuilding Summit in one grand event that had happened recentl (you can see it at the photos accompanying this article).

Before that, Lance also got the Icon of Success award in Events Hosting, Music, Arts and Entertainment at The Netizens' Best Choice awarding event recently held at Crowne Plaza Manila  Galleria last November 28, 2019.

But the one we liked the most was the Outstanding performer of the Year award, which was awarded to him by Entertainment Philippines of mr. Richard Hinola. The event happened only last November 25 at teatrino, Greenhills.

But hey, it doesn't stop there. 

Lance also has got a big chance of winning this year at the Aliw Awards. Oh, my, it's because he's nominated this year at the very prestigious and most dependable award-giving body on the entertainment scene- THE ALIW AWARDS 2019!!!

Awarding will happen by the month of December before 2019 ends, and Lance is surely attending this event. We wish Lance all the best of luck!

With Lance's winning streak at this latter part of the year, we are so positive that an award at the ALIW AWARDS is surely coming. If not, definitely, next year, Lance will be noticed by the people behind the ALIW AWARDS for his great performance as Jesus Christ in the Senakulo Martir Sa Golgota by Tanghalang Sta. Ana. This is where we really wanna see Lance WIN talaga!

MGA ALA-ALA SA ISANG SINGER, ACTOR AT PRODUCER NA NAGNGANGALANG ROMMEL LUNA....

Silent achiever itong si Rommel Luna, na nagsimula sa mundo ng showbiz bilang isang singer, at nu'ng lumaon, naging aktor din magmula nu'ng lumabas siya sa ilang mga pelikula ng yumaong direktor na si Celso Ad Castillo.

Kalaunan, nag-prodyus din siya ng ilang indie films, at ang pinaka-memorable sa amin ay iyong isang indie film na isinali niya sa Cinema One Originals na kung saan ang bida ay si Lauren Young (pasensya na po at nakalimutan namin ang pamagat), at doon, gumanap si Rommel bilang isang salbaheng ama.

Napakaganda nu'ng indie film na iyon dahil binigyan ni Rommel ng break doon ang mga batang film artists na kay gagaling sa Cinematography and other technical aspects. Ang dating sa amin ng film na iyon ay parang isang French film. Napakaganda talaga.

Pero nu'ng pumasok na sa showbiz ang magandang anak ni Rommel na si Ana Luna, saglit siyang nag-lie-low para hindi niya matabunan ang kanyang anak. At in fairness, ang kanyang anak na si Ana Luna, napakaganda rin ng naging mga kontribusyon kaagad sa mundo ng showbiz. Nanalo ito ng ilang Best Actress awards na at laging na-nominate sa award-giving bodies. Nasa mainstream showbiz din si Ana, as one of the artists of Star Magic.

May mga pumapasok sa showbiz na nanggugulo lang, mayroon namang basta andu'n lang at wala namang naiko-contribute na maganda. Pero si Rommel Luna, kay dami nang nagawa para sa mundo ng pelikula. Ngayon, isa na ring Life Coach si Rommel.

Napaka-sincere din ni Rommel na aminin na galing siya sa mahirap na pamilya at talagang self-made person siya. Nagsikap siya talaga para marating ang mga pangarap niya.

Ngayon, pinaiyak kami ni Rommel. Sa isang segment sa It's Showtime at sa drama-video na parang short film na ipinalabas doon, tunay na nagpamalas ng kakaibang galing sa pagganap ni Rommel bilang isang OFW na tatay na matagal na nawalay sa kanyang nag-iisang anak na babae.

Nakaka-touch ang ending ng video, kung saan biglang lumitaw si Rommel na matanda na, pero hayun at nakadalo na siya finally sa kasal ng kanyang anak.

Mga istoryang Pilipino talaga, at nagampanan ni Rommel ng buong husay ang karakter niya.

Mga ala-ala sa isang actor, singer at producer. Mga ala-ala sa isang Rommel Luna...

I have always loved and admired artists, directors, ordinary celebrities, singers & musicians, actors and actresses- and the likes, who doesn't "commercialize" themselves and doesn't abuse the statuses of their very beings by compromising much and taking-in everything that money and material wealth could bring upon them.

We remembered now how one Music Artist/Singer by the name of Beck (or Beck Hansen), who rose to Fame in early 1990's with his experimental kind of Music, succeeded in having his own IDENTITY. He became very sensational at that time and many Mainstream record producers offered him different kinds of recording contracts, amounting to very huge sums that could make him very stable for many years. But Beck refused all the offers and stick it out into becoming an INDIE RECORD PRODUCER. His choice and his decision of remaining independent astounded many Hollywood record producers. But the last laugh still went to Beck. Because his record sales as a recording producer seemed to be more profitable. He became one of the richest record producers in Hollywood, until now.

Like Beck, not compromising. Like Beck, sticking it out with his own beliefs and principles- that, we've been looking for a very long time now to see it in one Filipino artist. And somehow, we're looking at it now to one indie film director by the name of CARLO ALVAREZ.

We've been observing director Carlo for quite a number of years now. And his attitude as a film maker is one thing we've always wanted. Someone who's uncompromising with his works, someone who doesn't want to be dictated by mainstream actors or the 'mainstream king of thing'. He doesn't want his vision as a film maker to be distracted. And that, yes, THAT. That's what we've been wanting to see in a Film Artist for a very long time now.

And as we traced director Carlo's background, we realized he's also a Media Man. He had experiences as a Publisher and as a writer in his younger days. Pretty awesome. That's why he's always been so nice to media people like this blogger (me-rms.*).

Now comes his film SABADO. Based on the trailer of his film, we saw in it a raw kind of vision, images and feelings. It's so trendy and fashionable in some sense, too- almost like a Vogue thing in rhythm, execution and style. Though it's a dark and a highly-suspenseful film, somewhere, you would feel a HEART. And that's what we like the most in every dark film, in every suspenseful film.

Casting a foreign actor with great angst and character is another plus-factor. It would make you feel like you are watching a foreign film and with Filipino actors coming-in as the support. Enough with all those misery films, showing how poor the Philippines is with squatters-area people standing by in ugly faces. We felt, it's enough. Show something more stylish, something more different!

In the days to come, we would be observing more director Carlo Alvarez. He's our bet. And we do like his ATTITUDE. 

Carlo and the film SABADO, will be transcending higher the feeling of a wonderful Philippine Cinema. Need we say more?

ONE MORE LINGERING LOOK AT "EL FILIBUSTERISMO", WITH PHOTOGRAPHS BY DENNIS T. SEBASTIAN....

There can be miracles, when you believe. But in one of the darkest stories ever told in the pages of Philippine Literature, the novel of our National Hero- (Dr. Jose Rizal), seemed not to believe in it. In this last novel he wrote- EL FILIBUSTERISMO, the main lead character died without seeing the dawn of a new Philippines. But somewhere along the way, you would feel that his lingering soul saved all the Filipinos from the depths of a living hell- through his LEGACY and embraced upon by his love.

Thanks God, GANTIMPALA THEATER FOUNDATION never failed to present to many students and audiences of theirs the Theatrical Version of EL FILIBUSTERISMO. Adapted from the novel, this stage presentation is truly worth-seeing, breath-taking and 'mesmeringzingly' fantastic. Directed by Jose Jeffrey Camanag and with Roeder Camanag playing the role of Simoun- the partnership of this two blood brothers was one to reckon for. An unforgettable tandem as director-actor.

With their last schedules of performances out to be shown at the GSIS Theater by the second or third week of December, let's have one more lingering look at EL FILIBUSTERISMO, the play. Captured on the photographic lens of social media influencer- Mr. Dennis T. Sebastian, you would really feel the very sophisticated texture of this play.

And definitely, just like the song "When You Believe" which will have its comeback via The Prince of Egypt, The  Musical Play out to be performed on the year 2020 at West End in New York- the local play EL FILIBUSTERISMO will still believe in the power of love....
