Mostly media bloggers attended the press conference last September 9 of "Kanser: The Updated Version".
Also in attendance was our friend, the American actor/photographer Don Gordon Bell, and U.P. student- Ms. Trixie Dauz. One lone tabloid columnist who attended was the veteran writer Mr. Danny Vibas.
The media bloggers were: Orly Agawin, Aliyah, Milton Coyne and Axl Guinto.
The press conference was held at the backstage of the very cozy Star Theater at the CCP Complex. JCO Donuts (courtesy of Mr. Jomar Fleras) and cupcakes from Mr. Jun Pablo overwhelmed the center table of the press conference.
Mr. Jhay-R Lagrimas, the in-house photographer of Gantimpala Theater Foundation, managed to steal candid shots of the press conference. Very beautiful and overwhelming candid photos, indeed. Worthy to become entries for a photo contest, if ever Jhay-R decides to join someday. Ha-ha.
Just look and cherish the very nice photos below, and obviously, everybody enjoyed the press conference. The stars/theater performers of "Kanser: The Updated Version" all answered the questions from the media press fully well and very intellectually, headed by its director- Mr. Frannie Zamora.
Among the major cast who joined the press con proper were: Carlo Manalac (as Crisostomo Ibarra), KL Dizaon (as Maria Clara), Francis Matheu (as Elias), Norman Penaflorinda (as Padre Damaso), Albert Solis (as Basilio), Angelo Ilustre (as Crispin), Jansen Aguilar (as Padre Salvi), Dea Formacil Chua (as Sisa), Abel Napuran (as Sir Tikong/Pilosopong Tasyo), and Ms. Victoria Mina (as Donya Victorina). The playwright of "Kanser", in person of Mr. Jomar Fleras also joined the press con, upon the request of "Kanser"'s publicist- Robert Silverio.
