Don't cry for me, Cinemalaya. I will be okay from hereon. Although I promised to myself not to see you anymore...
Don't cry for me, Cinemalaya. It's my own personal choice. Because Politics is everywhere, everytime I go to you. It's as if, in every action I do, every movement, every walk or steps-
intrigues follow.
Don't cry for me, Cinemalaya. Though the hurt was unbearable, and the pain still lingers, I still could count on for many happy memories I shared with you. From people least I expected from. From strangers and new people and friends. I could just cherish them all now.
Don't cry for me, Cinemalaya. From hereon, I won't expect from you anymore. I am running-away. I will simply view you from other venues or other angles. Maybe, it will be easier that way for me.
Don't cry for me, Cinemalaya. Because CINEMA will never be the same anymore. The Philippine Cinema will further move-on. Amidst the chaos, the anger, the thirst...
One soul like me will reach up higher on.
Just like the stars in the skies....
FOREVER.
