It's been years that direk Neal 'Buboy' Tan has been doing advocacy films. Films that are relevant to the society, films with good causes, films with a desire to uplift the image of people who sacrifice a great deal for the country....
And now, it's high time that Men In Uniform, especially the policemen, to be represented in films and other visual arts medium in the proper way or manner. They've always been reflected as bad, corrupt, abusive people. But this time around, people are beggining to see the real sacrifices of these great and brave men.
That's exactly what direk Neal 'Buboy' Tan pictured these men in uniform in the movie MEN IN UNIFORM, an advocacy film which had its premiere night more than a month ago and soon to be released theatrically in Metro Manila movie houses soon.
With direk Neal's good intentions, the PNP (Phil. National Police) gave him awards and a recognition/memento for his humble efforts. They recognized his artistry and honest representation of policemen in the movie MEN IN UNIFORM.
It's such an honor to receive a valuable memento and placques of honor such as this. It's so flattering that brave men recognize the efforts of people in the world of Arts.
More power to you, direk Neal Tan. And we say, thank you to all the MEN IN UNIFORM.
