Among all the female candidates of FACE OF THE YEAR 2018, she's the most controversial. And why, because she's the most candid, most innocent, and most girlish.

That's why she was branded as "naughty girl" by no less than the head of PHILMODA (Philippine Modelling Agency) head- Mr. Jojo Veloso. She gets into controversies without her knowing and without any bad intentions on her part. Hehehe.

But basically, JOAN KYLE GUEVERRA is not a bad girl. In person, she's very nice, warm and friendly, too.

"Maybe I just do things that out of my being friendly and being nice, other people would see it differently", Joan said to a blogger. "But I will now follow the advice of those people who's simply concerned to me. I need to be more mature in ways this time, eliminate my being playful and focus more on my career as a model."

With her morena looks- and a mixture of Katryn Bernardo and Mercedes Cabral physical features, Joan do not want to be simply known as a "look-alike".

"I wanna be known more as me, Joan", she said in finality. "I know I am destined for greatness. And I will work hard to achieve my dreams."

Keep it up, Joan girl. Keep it up!

THE STAGE OF THE GLAMOUR NIGHT OF FACE OF THE YEAR

PEOPLE LINING-UP AT LE REVE EVENTS PLACE TO WATCH THE EVENT

You'd feel that you are really on the red-carpeted premiere night of a Hollywood film and the Hollywood stars were right there rubbing elbows with you. From Kanye West, Orlando Bloom, Shia Lebouf to Brigitte Bardot, Kate Winslett and Selena Gomez. Yeah, the male and female candidates of Face of the Year imitated them in this Glamour Night, in which, those who landed on the top 5, automatically lands the top places in the Finals of Face of the year (FOTY) 2018.

Held at LE REVE EVENTS PLACE in Sgt. Esguerra St. last December 15, 2017, the event became so succesful and mind-blowing!

Male candidate Daniel Kent Orio was so handsome in his over-all white tuxedo, while female candidate Marsela Mari Guia looked so tantalizing in her sexy evening gown...

And how can we forget, male candidate number 4- Mr. Ram Rivera looked like Orlando Bloom himself in his black tuxedo designed by Ms. Ivanka Moda- and Ram's partner, Ms. Frances Ortiz, did a great imitation look on Hollywood icon Brigitte Bardot.

Handsome host Lance Raymundo remedied some loopholes on the production technicalities, with scriptwriter Maryo Labad rushing-out some immediate additions-, and, thanks also to choreographer Shandy Lim for doing some extra cleaning-up measures on the final production stages of FOTY's Glamour Night.

Director Tony Reyes, past winners of FOTY like Mr. Lester Buna and Ms. Divine, PMPC President Roldan Castro, Salon Owners Ness Astilla and Jun Laguardia, paranormal expert Zernan Mataya, radio broadcaster Renee Garcia, Ms. Agnes Valencia, actress Monette Rivera, scriptwriter Eric Ramos and a lot more, became the judges of the event (there were 50 judges in all)....

Indeed, it was a spectacular event witnessed by mostly family and friends of the candidates. The designers who all participated in this event were also present in that memorable night, especially the San Pablo City fashion designers and Mr. Topher Garcia, famous fashion designer of Batangas City.
