Tipong boy-next-door ang dating niya. Pero nagulat kami sa mga naging kasagitan niya sa aming Question & Answer interview. Aba naman, kay galing at kay lalim sumagot nitong si Jounard Valerio, ang male candidate number 16 sa FACE OF THE YEAR 2018!

Hhhhhmmmmm.... Basahin ninyo, basta ang mga sagot niya sa ibaba. Talagang Mr. Romantiko, di po ba?

QUESTION #1: Do you still believe that men must still be above women and provide for his family?

JOUNARD: "Sa panahon ngayon may mga kakayanan ang mga lalake na nagagawa na din ng babae at sa pantay na pananaw ng isang mag asawa sa kanilang pamilya ay walang lumalamang sa kakayanan ng bawat isa dahil pareho nilang binubuhay ang kanilang pamilya. In this new generation, women can do what men can do. In my fair point of view, both men and women have equal capabilities in providing the needs of their family."


QUESTION #2: What does a girl say every time you kiss her?

JOUNARD: "Mahal kita salamat" sa tuwing hinahalikan ko sa noo ang dating girlfriend ko sa noo ito ang naririnig kong sinasambit ng dahil para sa mga babae ang pag-halik sa kanila ng lalake sa noo ay tanda ito ng pagmamahal at respeto para sa kanila. Hindi lang sa pag halik sa noo ang pag papakita ng respeto kundi paggawa din ng simpleng effort para mapasaya ko ito at maipakita at maiparamdam ko yung tunay kong nararamdaman". "Thank you, i love you" are the words i hear from my ex-girlfriend everytime I kiss her on her forehead. Kissing a girl in the forehead is a sign of love and respect to them. It's not only kissing them in the forehead that shows respect to them, by showing that you are making effort to make them happy is also a way to express how i really feel for them".


QUESTION #3: Do you love to hug people you love?

JOUNARD: "Hugging the person you love is like living in paradise, you feel comfortable and safe. Everyone loved to be in that place all the time".

QUESTION #4: What is your greatest journey in life?

JOUNARD: "My greatest journey ay yung nakuha ko ang aking diploma,dahil ang oras , tyaga at paghihirap ng aking mga magulang ay nasuklian ko ng pagatatapos ko sa pag-aaral beacause my greatest journey is to gave my happinness, there happiness My greatest journey is when I received my diploma, because the time, patience and hardship of my parents had paid off. It is my way of returning my gratitude for everything they have done for me".

QUESTION #5: If you win the FACE OF THE YEAR 2018 in the male category, to whom will you offer the prize?

JOUNARD: "Kung ako yung pinakaswerteng lalake ngayong araw, ibabahagi ko ang iba na aking napanalunan sa mga nangangailangan o sa mga charity dahil ang pag sali sa beauty contest ay isang karangalan at responsibilidad at ito ay responsibilidad kong maglingkod at tumulong at willing ako tumulong sa mga pangangailangan nila, dahil para sakin ang pagtulong sa kapwa ay isang bahagi ng pagkapanalo na mapalitan ng mga matatamis na ngiti ang iyong ibinigay na tulong. Joining pageants is an opportunity and priveledge and it is my respobsibilty to help those who are needy, because seeing the smile on their face is a great happiness and fulfilment."
