These two Theater icons simply deserve to be included on our list of YEAR-ENDER REPORTS at Swordshines10.Blogspot.Com. And why? Because of their great visibility on the Theater scene by 2019-whole year round- well, they both simply made the world of Theater a lot more exciting and wonderful.
Let's start it out with director Jose Jeffrey Camanag, the director of Gantimpala Theater Foundation's EL FILIBUSTERISMO, and co-director of the much-acclaimed NOLI ME TANGERE, THE OPERA by J & S Production and Cultural Center of the Philippines. Two very important and great plays for the year 2019.
At the Second Quarter of 2019, director Jeffrey was so visible promoting, rehearsing, and interacting with fellow Theater artists for Noli, The Opera. Because of his great vision, working hand-in-hand with co-director Jerry Sibal, the Philippine Opera made a big comeback in the very heart of every Filipino. Even the 'Millenials' - the young people of today, suddenly appreciated the Opera. Thanks, direk Jeff!
But it did not finish there. After doing some Acting Workshops for DepEd, as the year 2019 reached its Fourth Quarter, director Jeffrey impressed everybody with the candid beauty of the play EL FILIBUSTERISMO, which had been so "low-key" in the past years of its performances. Once again, director Jeffrey's name on the Theater scene became so visible as the year 2019 was fast approaching to its end.

Now, it's actor-director Neil Ericson Tolentino's turn. It's such an awe of a feeling, and a great visibility ACT that a come-backing theater icon suddenly emerges in three stage productions this year! Simply wonderful. And what's so amazing is, they were performed right after each other, consecutively, without any sudden interruptions.
In the play HIMALA by Nine Works Theatricals, Neil's magnifying presence as a come-backing theater icon was very much felt. He shone so much in every scene. His dramatic prowess exceeded beyond the limits.
But again, it did not stop there. When his performance for the play KANSER came at the GSIS Theater, he further proved his unique acting style, his aura as a performer was manifesting in all the four corners of the theater venue. Truly tantalizing.
AND THAT, IS, INDEED-
GREAT VISIBILITY.

Year-ender reports number TWO are Neil Ericson Tolentino and Jose Jeffrey Camanag. Two theater icons who both contributed so much (without any selfish intentions and material gains- F.Y.I.) and embraced so much-
The wonder of Theater-
FOREVERMORE.
