For a time ay nag-worry kami kay Lance Raymundo dahil ilang araw ding wala siyang active posts sa kanyang Facebook account the past few days magmula nu'ng i-announce ni President Rodrigo Duterte ang Community Quarantine sa bansang Pilipinas. Na nasundan pa ng Enhanced Community Quarantine, kaya lalong walang naging active daily posts si Lance sa FB niya.

Buti na lang, isang umaga ay naisipan naming i-PM siya sa kanyang FB messenger. At doon namin napag-alaman, hindi na pala lumalabas ng kanyang Condo unit si Papa Lance!

"Hi Rob, as of now, we are not even allowed to go outside our own units in our condo building here!", bungad na PM ni Lance sa amin bilang pagtugon din naman sa PM namin sa kanya. "It's really best na i-follow muna natin ang guidelines especially that the number of Covid-19 cases are rising pa, maski dito sa vicinity namin o area. That's why, I am just here at my condo unit and doing my daily day-to-day existence."

Naitanong namin si Lance, sinusuportahan ba niya ang Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga ginawang hakbang nito para huwag nang kumalat ang Covid-19 virus?

"I choose to support our leaders", tugon ni Lance. "I have faith that they are doing everything they can to save our beloved country. If the current solutions seem faulty and less than perfect, it's mostly because this current crisis is nothing like anything our country has ever faced before. There will be surely flaws here and there, and there may even be sacrifices to take. But if we all work together on this, I am sure that the rays of hope will get brighter and brighter. My heart aches for those who got hit by the Covid-19 crisis the most. Especially the poor people, and those people who only earn on a day-to-day basis. I only pray that the quick thinkers whom we entrusted our Fate as a nation will continue to innovate new solutions. This is a developing situation and I remain positive that better solutions are on their way. God bless us all!"

Samantala, today pala ang sixth year anniversary nu'ng grabeng aksidenteng nangyari kay Lance nu'ng 2014. Iyon ang aksidenteng halos ikamatay niya at ikadurog ng kanyang mukha. Buti na lang, may magagaling na doktor at plastic surgeon na mas lalo pang nagpabata at nagpa-guwapo kay Lance after nu'ng accident na iyon sa barbell na nalaglag sa kanyang mukha.

Today marks the anniversary of survival from my 2014 accident. The impact on my head was way worse that it seems and for while, I thought I would no longer make it, so did everyone else around me... but Faith took over and here I am, still living, surviving and appreciating life in all it’s ups and downs.

GOD’s LOVE + my Faith + my Desire to Heal + the Care given by my very talented Doctors and Nurses + my Cooperation & Obedience as a patient + All the well wishes and Good Vibes that people collectively sent my way wether thru Encouraging Words, Sweet Messages, Positive Posts, Beautiful Smiles, acts of Kindness and most especially thru their Prayers —- all done in UNITY as Citizens of this World and as Children of God. 💙
