That was Lance's first day of taping at the set of Channel 2's top-rating prime time teleserye- Ang Probinsyano. He appeared on the set early, as professional as he was, to deliver the role that was assigned for him. But when the director-, in person of direk Toto Natividad saw him at that very time, everything went on hold for one hour. There was an instant meeting with the staff, especially the creative writers. After an hour, the script for Lance's lines were changed. His costume was changed into a "yuppie-look". And the lines to be delivered went from being serious to naughty. And why?

The director got inspired with Lance's young looks- that of looking almost like Justin Bieber. So, at that very moment, his character in the said teleserye (Lance guested on the show and his character had not died yet, so it means that he'll still appear soon on Ang Probinsyano) went from being serious to naughty. Instead of looking like a serious and middle-aged laboratory chemist for illegal drugs, it was transformed into a fresh College graduate who could talk back nasty things to the character of Eddie Garcia. And the result: AWESOME.

Over dinner of Pork Spare Ribs and Embotidos at Teresita's restaurant in Tomas Morato, Lance met with his blogger-friend for another tete-a-tete. So, below were the Question & Answer with actor Lance Raymundo:

QUESTION: How do you find the pleasant experience of working with the cast and staff of Ang Probinsyano?

LANCE: You see, Robert, 80% of the cast and staff of Ang Probinsyano, nakatrabaho ko na in the past. When they saw me nga sa first taping day ko, pinagyayakap nila akong lahat. We all felt like we're all back home to each other. The feeling was so great when they all saw me. Welcome na welcome ako sa kanilang lahat. Parang solid na samahan talaga.
I think, everybody knows each other there. Sobrang naging at home ako sa kanila. We all support each other a lot. Everybody on the set was on time, there's no paistaran complex. Iba-ibang levels nga lang, pero we all unite and back-up each other.
Though, it's my first time to work with veteran actor Eddie Garcia, tapos siya pa agad ang ka-eksena ko. And everything went well naman.

QUESTION: What is the essence of your role in Ang Probinsyano and how did you prepare for the role?

LANCE: 'Yung character ko sa Ang Probinsyano, ang peg niya is a College dropout student. He is super genius. A brilliant young man and chemist. I've got the brains in formulating ecstacy tablets and other illegal drugs, so alam ko, kailangan nila ako. Kasi kung mapatay nila ako, dead na rin ang business nila. I know my work and I will become their greatest asset.
I know that the whole world is watching when you are guesting in a prime time TV teleserye. And it's good that this role came knocking by after I finished my acting workshop at Viva Artist Agency. It helped in portraying this role with a mix of naughtiness.

QUESTION: They say that working and being a part of a prime time TV teleserye is so stressful for actors, did you feel the very demanding work load guesting on Ang Probinsyano?

LANCE: Whoever said that? I don't think so. Siguro, state of mind lang ng ibang actors 'yan. They inflict in them a self-imposing stress because of high expectations from people. Whether it's a prime time teleserye or not, it's just the same thing. Basta ako, relaxed lang ang attitude ko in delivering my role as an actor.

QUESTION: Have you met Coco Martin on the set of Ang Probinsyano? How's your rapport to him?

LANCE: I haven't met Coco Martin yet on the set. Sana, magkaroon kami ng scene together sa mga susunod na appearances ko sa show. I consider Coco as working colleague and I have worked with him once. Besides that, we've met each other already at the Traslacion of Jesus Nazareno at the Luneta grandstand. We both gave testimonials to our faith with the Black Nazarene of Quiapo. We got together on stage and that was last year of 2017.

QUESTION: After Ang Probinsyano, can we see more of you in other TV teleseryes soon?

LANCE: Hopefully, tuloy-tuloy na. Actually, there's an inquiry abroad na, an offer, I mean. It came after 2 weeks pa lang of guesting in Ang Probinsyano. So, iba talaga ang exposure kapag nasa prime time ka. Everything will be handled by Viva Artist Agency. They've given my file to other TV directors and they've talked to them na rin. You see, it's really good for a singer and host like me to have TV teleseryes.

QUESTION: Last question for you, Lance. Will you be portraying Jesus Christ again soon?

LANCE: Yes, I have rehearsed na nga for our forthcoming Senakulo. This time, I will be alternating with Miggy Moreno as jesus Christ because we'll be having much more performances this year, we'll be having one pa nga at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. I will never get tired portraying Jesus Christ. It's something I would always love to do.
