"Puwedeng-puwede ka talaga", veteran movie entertainment writer and critic Mario Bautista attested right in front of international Broadway actor and singer Gerald Santos. "You perfectly fit the character of an international actor and singer. You can pass a role in Hamilton or any kind of an international Broadway play like what you did in Miss Saigon. Congrats to you, Gerald."

Great writers and columnists seated beside a blogger, in persons of Mr. Ricky Lo (Entertainment Editor of Philippine Star) and Jojo Panaligan (Entertainment Editor of Manila Bulletin) did fully agree about what Mario E. Bautista has said about Gerald.

This writer/blogger (me.--rms***) told to Ricky Lo: "Nakakapangilabot. Bihirang pumuri at magsalita ng ganyan si Mario E. Bautista. When he speaks, he really means it. Wow, I'm so proud about Gerald!"

"He's a very nice person, very thoughtful to media people's feelings", Ricky Lo told to the blogger. "Gerald deserves all these accolades."

That was the press conference for Gerald's Homecoming concert. Held at the very cozy place of Oriental Palace restaurant in Tomas Morato Ave., a great lunch of Mandarin Chinese food was served. So elite and Avant Garde. What a wonderful and delightful treat from the producers of Gerald's concert - Media Biz of Ms. Mellany Zambrano.

The P.R, man of the press conference was another veteran writer- Mr. Nestor Cuartero. He was very gentle and warm  to all the press people who attended the event.

Gerald's manager, Mr. Rommel Ramilo, together with Gerald's official make-up artist Teddy Mendoza and Mrs. Ramilo (Rommel's mom), were also present at the event.

After two years of performing as Thuy at the Miss Saigon UK Tour and more than 500 performances there, Gerald was finally home. And now, in his homecoming concert entitled Gerald Santos: The Homecoming Concert- he will show to everyone the PROXIMITY OF HIS GRANDEUR AND MAGNITUDE.

On May 4, 2019, at the Solaire Theatre, let's all embrace back and love Gerald in one spectacular concert. A Filipino like us, he will simply show to everyone that...

"Sa pagsilip ng araw bukas ay ngingiti ang mga ulap sa pagsasama-sama ng mga bituing nabigkis ng iisang adhikaing magbigay ng liwanag sa mga musmos na kaisipang nabubulagan ng technolohiyang mapanlinlang.

Tatanglawan nito ang mga matang bulag sa mga nagkukubling katotohanang minana natin sa ating mga ninuno. Mga katotohanang inilahad ng bayani ng ating lahi ilang siglo na ang nakararaan ngunit ang bawat mapait na katotohan ay namamayanin pa rin sa kasalukuyan.

LANCE:OOZING! (di ba, beni saunders?)

Nagkaroon na ng Fight Workshop kamakailan lang ang actor-singer na si Lance Raymundo, in preparation for his upcoming film na isu-shoot na sa buwan na ito ng Marso, at ang pelikula'y ididirek ng Master film director na si Elwood Perez. After a series of meetings, na-finalize na ang lahat and everything's set na para sa first day of shooting.

Sa ginanap na Fight Workshop ni Lance na idinaos sa Lunar Saints Productions' studio-office, napasabak agad si Lance sa mga umaatikabong bakbakan, kasama ang ilan pang 'anonymous' actors na magaling sa Martial Arts. Naroon din si direk Elwood to supervise the Fight Workshop, dahil may mga action scenes si Lance sa movie na gagawin niya kay direk Elwood.

As of this early, hindi pa puede i-reveal ang iba pang details ukol sa movie. Pero ang natitiyak namin, isa itong magandang pelikula dahil si direk Elwood ang direktor, na laging hinahangaan sa bawat pelikulang gawin niya.

May isang naunang pelikula na si Lance kay direk Elwood, pero na-shelve 'yun temporarily, at ito na ngang bagong movie na ito ang pangalawang pelikula na kung saan ay makakatrabaho ni Lance ang pamosong direktor.

Which is a nice and a good break naman for Lance, para hindi naman maging monotonous ang activities niya lately sa pagiging isang singer and recording artist sa Viva Records. Nakagawa na kasi si Lance ng dalawang hit singles sa Viva Records. At ngayon, may kasunod na, kaya magiging tatlo na. In fact, magsisimula na rin si Lance ng shooting niya para sa MTV ng kanyang ikatlong kanta.

"Direk Elwood is a family friend of the Raymundo's", tanging nasabi ni Lance."And I've known him since I was young. Noon pa namin pangarap sa isa't-isa na makagawa ng pelikula together."

In case you guys don't know yet, actor-singer Lance Raymundo has got some real good friends back in HongKong. They were his friends already since they were still students and models. Lance got to now them when he became a model for Levi's.

Now, Lance's friends are big celebrities in Hongkong already, and they are Superstar Couple in Hongkong., They are real big celebrities there. No less than Dada Lo and Chiu King Ho.

Yearly, Lance bonds with this Power Couple. Whenever they have free extra time, they really do.

Sinuyod recently ng baguhang singer na si Macoy Mendoza ang mga sari-saring radio stations and radio programs para i-promote ang awitin niyang "Puwede Kaya".

Nauna sa kanyang listahan, siyempre, ang The Buzz radio show ni Jobert Sucaldito (na co-manager para kay Macoy, at si Ms 'Maine Nadaya' naman ang manager) na kung saan, tunay namang napahanga ni Macoy ang halos lahat ng mga naging listeners ni Jobert that night of February 28 na kung saan ay nag-guest siya doon.

Sumunod diyan, nag-guest din sa Macoy sa radio show ni Cristy Fermin, and once more, pinabilib din ni Macoy ang batikang writer at broadcaster in person of Cristy.

To add, nakapag-guest na rin si Macoy sa Net 25's Music & Letters, sa Wish FM, at iba pa.

"Maganda po ang feedback ng awitin kong Puwede Kaya", nasabi pa ni Macoy sa isang blogger sa isang nagdaang concert ni Kiel Alo. "Malakas po ang recall sa mga tao, kaya po masayang-masaya ako.

"Hanggang sa mga palengke pala, pinatutugtog ang kanta ko", dugtong pa ni Macoy. "Minsan daw kasi, naglalakad sa palengke ang manager ko, at narinig niya, pinakikinggan ng mga taga-palengke ang awitin ko. Sobrang natuwa ang manager ko. It means po, pang-masa ang appeal ng kanta ko."

Naghahanda na ngayon si Macoy sa nalalapit niyang concert. This month of March gaganapin iyon. Maski kagagaling lang sa sakit ni Macoy, hayan at todo-trabaho na agad siya.

"Minsan lang po kasing dumarating ang mga pagkakataong tulad nito", pagwawakas na sabi ni Macoy."Kaya po, sasamantalahin ko na ng lubus-lubusan. Hindi ko sasayangin ang pagkakataong tulad nito. Bihira po sa isang baguhanang mabigyan ng break. Kaya ang suwerte ko at isa ako du'n na kay bago-bago pa lang, nakapag-record na ng isang kanta, nakapag-concert, at nagawan ng komposisyon ni Vehnee Saturno. Wow, talagang happy ako. Kaya naman pagbubutihin ko talaga ng husto ang mga binigay nilang hamon sa akin. I don't want to fail people's expectations on me."
