NEAL TAN: A PASSION FOR THE ARTS

He was among the very first scholars of Madame Imelda Romualdez Marcos at a very young age- during his elementary days...

It was at that time that his inept artistry was harnessed, was released.

But he kept it and hid it for a while.

And when he grew-up, he saw the Art of Film Making as his Passion and as his career.

That's the time that a blogger first met him, and he bonded with him together with another friend.

Drinking beers, lambanogs, and Tanduay rhums.

He was an aspiring Art Director for films during those times. And soon after, he became an assistant director for some legitimate film makers...

And it was too fast- he at once became a full-pledged film director!

He became the pioneer of indie films during the late 1980's and mid-1990's, alarming the mainstream film directors who were all got alarmed by his skills of doing films with very minimal budget.

He won awards, became popular, and until now, one of the most respected names in the film industry.

HE IS NO LESS THAN DIREK NEAL 'BUBOY' TAN.

And now, he transcended and transformed.

He continues to teach, inspire and hold seminars for aspiring new film makers.

But he felt, he needed to unleash now his most innermost artistic passions-

and that is, the Art of Painting.

His favorite is to paint in Oil and also do nude sketches.

He has gained a market of his own for his beautiful paintings.

And as you would see it on his Facebook Page, they're all very beautiful works of Art.
