kiel: deeper as a performer |
kiel: man with manners |
He stood there with all his might and power. A young singer who showed so much passion and intensity as he sang songs of love and melodies of pain and loss. The audience was left enthralled, holding-on with their breaths as this young male singer further further spoke-up with the lyrics of his songs, alongside the rhythm.
It was the concert entitled "56k with Kara and Michael", held at the Music Museum last April 8, 2017. And the young male singer was among the special guests. His name: KIEL ALO.
Kiel went deeper this time. Not the commercial-type of a singer who simply sang ballads or pop songs. He sang two songs that were long, artistic in pitch and harmony, sounding like Broadway theatrical songs.
And he offered a great deal of PROMISE.
After he sang the songs, a blogger approached him for an interview:
Kiel, what could you say about your performance at this latest guesting in a concert?- a blogger asked.
"I am happy, very happy", Kiel answered. "It's because I knew that my performance improved a great deal. I saw the reaction of the audience and it was very satisfying to me.
"You see, tito Robert, the songs I sang tonight were related to me", Kiel continued on saying. "I can very well relate to those songs. I honestly reveal to you now, I've been there before- kaya nakaka-relate talaga ako sa mga kantang inawit ko."
Oh, that's why. That's the reason why Kiel was so deep while singing. Closing his eyes, feeling the sad tunes of the song. It could have been some broken loves?
"Ha-ha, not really", Kiel answered back. "I have moved-on, I can say. It's just that I've been there. I have experienced those and singing the lyrics went to far for me."
Anyway, Kiel is now more focused on his singing career. Mr. Jobert Sucaldito, his manager, is planning a release this year of his very first single.
"We're really preparing for that, tito Robert", Kiel added on saying. "It will be launched before the year ends. And I'm pretty excited about it."

Aside to his manager, Kiel is also very grateful to Michael Pangilinan, who also happened to be under the wings of his manager.
"He is very supportive to me kasi mas senior siya sa akin sa puder ni 'Nay Jobert", Kiel said. "Ang ganda ng samahan namin. We don't envy each other, but rather lift each other up. And Michael always sees to it that I am included as among his guests every time he has a concert. That alone is already a big help to me."
Kiel could not ask for more.
"When I commit myself to something, I totally do it", Kiel said at the end of the short interview. "I compete simply to myself and I don't compete with others. And all I wish is for good health, peace of mind and more blessings to come in my life. I am not in a hurry and things are coming just right,"
Very well said, Kiel.
